This package was designed with a secondary purpose. The package could be for any product that would be utilized in, or outside, of the United States. With choosing the item, there had to be a definitive reason why I chose it, along with its specific second purpose. I chose to utilize cardboard because it was durable enough for rock climbing equipment, but simultaneously being widely available. I decided to gauge the audience off of the average age of rock climbers, but airing on the younger side. Picking climbing equipment for the first time is very daunting for new climbers with so many options for bands. The package included a climbing harness, shoes, and a chalk bag. I had a few options for the second purpose, with the main one being a three-dimensional sculpture that could be constructed. However, this proved to be more complex resulting in making the sculpture two-dimensional for ease of access and assembly.
