I was gifted an Irish Soda Bread recipe from a close family friend. Through this, I decided to explore my heritage and create a poster representing the process of making the dish. I documented the process through a series of images, handwritten, and digital typefaces; and a title created using a traditional Celtic pattern for inspiration. The use of handwritten and digital typefaces provides both a separation and connection with Ireland. I chose to display this as a progression starting at the bottom starting with the farmlands where the ingredients come from. In additon to the graphic elements, the use of handwritten, and original photos taken of these ingridients provide an added layer of depth to the poster.
